CookFight was all right the somewhat interesting narrative is often interesting than the recipes and I was disappointed that many of the recipes came from other sources I was able to find the originals online so I wouldn t give this book scarce and precious space on my cookbook shelf As expected the book is filled with beautiful food porn but there were a LOT of instances when instead of photographs of completed dishes we get photographs of the authors cooking or of their cooking setup at the farmers market at a picnic etc it s almost like a fashion shoot but without the fashion If you re going to pay for the color printing I say go with photos of the food we re going to cook
